Dear list,

Thanks for all enquiries thus far regarding my 'for sale' items. The Fiamme stem and the Lambertini helmet have been spoken for. Don't be shy if you would be able to provide a good home for any of the others. You'd be helping a worthy cause--my rent, after a major on-topic purchase.

Here's an addition to the 'for sale' list:

Campagnolo brake levers, early '80s, some "rash" but presentable if you squint or take your glasses off. Small scratches here and there, and a 2 mm band of edge rash on one lever, not too deep, but there. DeLuxe for a commuter or workhorse as these are mechanically excellent. I guess these must be Super Record, but I typically deal with older bikes and am not knowledgeable about Campag. brakes--I have only one other with Campagnolo brake levers, and none with the calipers. These have dull gray bodies, and polished, perforated levers, back is half-open. Currently hoodless. Marked "Brev Camp" on the ends of the cable-stop barrels. $18 for the pair plus a little for shipping. I hope this seems reasonable.

I like selling things on the list, as I get to meet more of you a little bit this way. Would like to come to the Cirque and meet a great number of you in person, but I think it will have to wait one more year. A pity, as I love French bikes--and have enjoyed my contacts with people through the list.
