Doug, I own such a bike. I originally built it up for a friend in the mid 80's. He didn't ride it much and I ended up trading him a new MTB for it.
Nice bike. This one was a we bit small for me, but I put on a 130mm stem to get by. It has nice cut-out lugs and a sweet fastback stay configuration. He originally bought the frame mail-order from Mike's Cyclery in Aimes, Iowa. It was built up Super Record and remains so today.
Glad to hear it mentioned and thanks Larry for the catalog pages, as I knew nothing of the bike except for the one I own.
