Subject: [CR]Campagnolo bar-end shifters: geek question

I'm contemplating the possibility of installing Campagnolo bar-ends on a frame that has dt braze-ons for the shifter levers.

The question is, back in the day, was there some kind of special adaptor for doing this? Or did those come along later and you just lived with dt levers if there were braze-ons on your frame?

The modern cable stops for dt braze-on bosses look too... well...modern! I'd sure like to use a period-correct item, if such a thing ever existed. My memory says it didn't... what say you?

Thanks.

Charles *why would anyone use dt shifters when you could use
bar-ends?* Andrews
