hi bill,

are the black paramount frames the only ones that had the gold plated fork? i thought the gold plated fork was also available with other color frames, although i've never seen any other than black, now that i think about it.

where is the serial number located? i have a black/gold frameset that my records indicate is serial no. 142, but i can't remember where i got this # from. do you know the date of my frame based on this serial #, or where i can find it?

btw, mine is built with a campy 50th anniversary gruppo, and it looks very nice if i may say so myself. as far as the most correct gruppo, i would say either the very last generation super record, or an early-ish c-record, depending on your taste. dura ace would work too, if you like that sort of thing - just kidding!
