Here's my little red colnago. I've been riding it and its been fantastic. I built it up with super record derailleurs and cranks. I wasn't sure if the ofmega cranks were original and I had a the sr cranks laying around so on they went. When I got the frame it had a shimano bottom bracket which I replaced with a campy. The fixed cup was an a pain! I tried the vise, that didn't work, I tried sheldon brown's bolt, washer, nut trick, that didn't work. Before I popped the vain in my forehead I took it to the LBS. they had a tool to hold the park fixed cup tool in place and then used a 5 foot pipe as a handle extender to gain leverage on the cup, it worked like a charm, with a little effort, it only cost 5.00 and it got me to stop cursing.

I used a black modolo brake set and I like the look but I'm tempted to go full super record. We'll see what happens.

I was at performance and they had some tape on clearance, it was aireon super grip tape. I used it for the colnago and I love it. It's got cushion to it, not as much as cork but enough, it looks great too, very vintage to me. I think it almost looks like leather wrap. I highly recomend it. I went back and they were out, so was the other performance remotely close to me. Unfortunately the company doesn't make it anymore but it seems supergo.com has something similar and they sold the aireon version as well. If anyone wants a better picture of it let me know.
