I looked at Mick Butler's postings (273 total) http://search.bikelist.org/?SearchString=&MsgFrom=Mick%20Butler&SortBy=MsgDate%5Ba%5D&Scope=classicrendezvous and found no rude responses to his posts. Mick related that he had received objectionable responses off list, which is grounds for being expelled from the list by the way. That was the reason he gave for leaving the list.

I rechecked your posts Ian (40 total) http://search.bikelist.org/?SearchString=&MsgFrom=LeMansGTMAN%40aol.com&SortBy=MsgDate%5Ba%5D&Scope=classicrendezvous and found many interesting postings to the list. I'm sorry you have found the list to be entirely too contentious and ill mannered. I've always thought the list was the best the Internet could offer; that there was little of the ill-tempered responses so prevalent on the internet nowadays. Your contributions will be missed Ian.
