I've not had a problem with durability with my Duopars -- 3 in service here, including the original Eco model I bought back in 1978 still paying its way on my daily commuter bike. They've all seen plenty of abuse, but none have failed. The ones I photographed are new ones I picked up while at Trek (almost 20 years ago now!) but never put into service.
