An interesting question. It sounds a little improbable...but it's not near as questionable as it sounds. What was good old Columbus tubing? 4130 Chrome-moly steel, right? Smith and Wesson's Model 15, 38 Special revolver was made of 4130 steel, the Model 19 (essentially the same gun, but chambered in .357 magnum) was made of the slightly harder 4140 steel. So forget turning guns into plowshares...send them to a KOF and turn them into bicycles.
