"I have a Team Pro with serial number SB 262 that has a black head tube so

I assume it is a 1975. I also have a 753 Team Pro with serial number SB 22 15 which I would guess is a 1976/1977 although I truly have no idea. Any id eas on the date on that one Peter? It has cut-outs on the lugs unlike my two

other Team Pros. I'd be happy to send you some images off-list if you'd

like. Dave Marsh at CarltonCycles worked there during this period. He might be able to provide general dating based upon serial numbers. I have e-mailed him out of the blue with Raleigh questions in the past. He provided some valuable insights and was nothing but incredibly friendly an d helpful to a total stranger.

Indeed, Dave is the one who dated and identified my own '74/'75 Team Pro and did so after requesting about 10 really detailed pix of the frame. S o he knows!

Does SB 2215 have braze ons under the top tube for the rear brake cabling? ? This is a good way to date it as I think it was 1977 that they went to the

braze-ons. 1975 (first year for 753 frames with the team) and 1976 they had the Campagnolo clips. I'd have to check pix again in "The TI Raleigh Sto ry" but I am pretty sure there was a change 76/77.
