For Sale Faux Cinelli Steel Track bars, Regina ORO Extra track chains and more Clement from American Cyclery.

For Sale: to CR list members only.

1 Faux Cinelli Steel Track Bars in sizes 38 through 48. American Cyclery has a limited supply of steel track bars that are bent exactly like classic 60's vintage steel track bars from Cinelli. After hundreds of requests for Cinelli bars that are all but impossible to find or ridiculously priced, we had some steel track bars bent for us. These bars are made of Tange steel in the same place that most Cinelli items come from these days (Taiwan). The bars are chrome plated and have a 25.4 (standard for track) center. The bars have exactly the same shape as a Cinelli Pista bar but the ends are longer by 1.5cm. If you don't like the longer ends they are easy enough to cut down.

These bars come in sizes 38, 40, 42, 44, 44, 46, and 48cm (measured from center to center). Has anyone on this list ever even seen a 48cm bar? We have because we made them that wide! These bars are a fun, inexpensive way to have a classic steel bent track bar. The bars have a screened "SOMA" logo and SF (for Soma Fabrications) screened in the center. The logo comes off in seconds with some fine steel wool. The center of the bar is knurled 38mm wide. The bar diameter throughout the bends is 24mm (the same as a steel Cinelli) The Knurled center is raised to 25.4. We had Tange bend us a small batch and they said the next time we order we need to bend 2000 bars. This probably won't happen. These bars are $45 plus shipping Nitto Stem shims to make 254. 26.0 are $10

2 Regina Track chains. Classic Regina ORO Extra 1/2 x 1/8" track chains. These chains are a black and gold finish (slightly tarnished) The chain comes with a 3 piece master link and says "Regina" on many but not all of the plates. These chains are NOS in the original box. The box reads "Regina Extra BMX 1" These are exactly the same as the Regina ORO Extra track chains of the 70's but packaged differently. The box originally came with only 96 links but we have added an extra 12 links to make it the standard 108 links that the track chains came packaged as. These are great chains for a vintage restoration project on a single speed or fixed gear bike. Regina has been out of business for some time now and finding real Italian track chains is difficult. Just the packaging alone is worth the investment. The cheesy green box with red BMXer on the front is great $28 each or 2 for $50

3 More Clement Cycling Caps. We found more of these caps. Many of you asked for some and I told some CR listers that we were sold out. Fortunately we unearthed the rest of the pile. These are Clement cycling caps. 70's vintage Clement Cycling caps. Yellow with black screened scripted "Clement" on both sides of the hat and both sides of the brim. Classic Italian stripe down the center 50% cotton and 50% polyester $6 each or 4 for $20

4 BOX of 50 Clement tubular tires. Great training tires and great tires for restorations. These Futurox (FUTURAX) tires were made some time in the mid-80's These tires glue on strait and ride for many miles. SOLD as an unopened case of 50. These tires have not seen the light of day in over 20 years! These tires are gum walled with a hearing bone pattern in the center. The tread is not too pronounced. They measure 23mm wide. The outer tread has four narrow lines on the outside, two mid rows of dots next to the outer lines and fishbone looking center. The logo on the tire is the classic Clement logo in yellow with Italian stripes on either side of the logo. I have sold hundreds and hundreds of these tires to CL listmembers and to our local customers who are looking for a classic tire that is not too expensive. I have glued on more of these tires than I can count and I can say they are pretty true for an Eco classic tire. Aged to perfection. $495 per box.

5 Campagnolo Victory friction down tube shifter sets. Braze on style Campagnolo Victory downtube shifter sets. New Old Stock in the original packaging. These shifter levers use exactly the same hardware as the classic braze-on Nuovo Record or Super Record sets. These levers are a smooth finish with a scripted Campagnolo logo. These are the last of Campagnolo's friction Era shifters. For ten years after making these Campagnolo made indexed shifters that did not work too well. These friction shifters are a great inexpensive solution to your Syncro shifting blues. These also make some great Campy key chains! $10 per set or 6 sets for $50
