Mike,

Thank you so much for sharing your history with us. Getting information from the very source is invaluable and greatly appreciated. By the general guidelines you have described, my SB 252 (531) would probably be a 1975, my SB 2215 (753) would be late-1977/early-1978 and my SB 4571 (753) would be a 1981? By the way, the seat-tube diameter on both 753's is 26.8. Are the 801 and 801 code numbers stamped anywhere? And were the RGF BB's always stamped with "RGF" in an oval? My SB 2215 has only the serial number and the size stamped on the BB.
