I have a Gitane track bike that has no model name, nor does it appear to have ever had a Reynolds tubing sticker of any kind. But it has a track bike fork. Components suggest a 70s bike. It has Normandy Competition hubs and a fixed gear. Track bike handle bars also. Were there low end and high end track bikes? Or were track bikes all made with fairly common tubing? If anyone has a link to a page detailing the track bike and its evolution over the years I would appreciated it.
