Subject: [CR]any one ever ride an Automoto?

Since today is my lucky day (Aldo identified my old wreck as a Girardengo), I'm going to try one more long shot. I am coming out of the Automoto closet. I have an obsession with this brand, because I have only seen one picture of one bike (on CR site)and have never heard from anyone who owns one and has ridden one. Rene Herse, schmenay herse. RH's (or facsimiles) are on Ebay several times a year. Has anyone ridden an Automoto? If yes, tell me all about it. Did it feel fabulously French? I am on a quest to determine the ultimate French bike in terms of its Frenchness of feel. And I'm not a Reynolds snob. I have a rusted old Raphael Geminiani that is Durifort tubed and feels the most French of any bike I've ridden. Geometry, geometry, geometry and wheels. Right Sheldon? Merci beaucoup in advance.
