First, let me add my thanks to Dale for organizing and hosting the Cirque. It was a wonderful experience, and I had a great time. It was fun to be able to put faces to names. You are all younger and taller than I expected.

Now to business: I am looking for a set of gum hoods to fit a pair of Campagnolo NR brake levers. I do not want to unload the large bucks for Campy parts.

I know there are some copies from Euro-Asia. Are these the ones with the big seams? I think these would be the choice of last resort.

Does anyone have a new pair of Modolo non-anatomic gum hoods?

If there is some other good alternative I would be happy to hear of it.

Please contact me off-list.

Best regards, Marcus Helman Huntington Woods, MI

Hi Marcus: Personally, I would recommend the Modolo # 920 gum hoods. They are pretty close to Campagnolo, shape-wise, and are very high-quality hoods. I believe they are available somewhere in your area....
