Subject: [CR]Cycles Folupt - French - Information Needed

This past weekend I was unpacking a crate of bikecrap and came across a packet containing 55 original photographs, 1 trade card, 1 catalog, several race programs, and small journal filled with 42 pages of company and race history for a French brand called "Fonlupt". The time span of the company is at least from the early 1920's through 1951 as the journal contains clippings and race information from 1922 to 1927 and the latest dated item is a Paris Bike Show photo from 1955. Looking at the photos, it appears the company was "full line" from kids bikes to randonneurs to racing machines. The photos are for the most part professional studio images that I am assuming were probably the source material for the companies trade publications and catalogs. (The race Criterium Fonlupt has long since fallen off the race calendar.)

The questions I am trying to answer: Is the company still around? If not, when did it go under? Is this a rank department store brand or something more akin to Schwinn?
