Subject: [CR]Restoration Cable Housing

Greetings friends. Although I didn't make it to my first Cirque (tho' my wife's family is "all over Greensboro"), I will, I will be at the Rendezvous in Pasadena (our own home-grounds).

In the meantime, I am getting close to finishing restoration of my late 60s Tigra, and am on the hunt for period brake cable housing (note: I haven't bought cable housing since 1970 when, gloriously, the rainbow was available right off the roll. Was gray then even available??). MY APPEAL: Where is the stuff to be found? Correctly, I should use wine red; and most so with the translucent outer skin. However, I now gather that I will need to be flexible -- myself. I have been searching the web but remain stumped and will appreciate advice and direction.

Thanks,

JB Froke
