I recently listed for sale on ebay my crusty old Gloria, and have even more recently, delisted it. Several of you have emailed me suggesting I keep the bike, as sellers remorse was sure to strike me once it was sold. As someone pointed out, it nearly pulses with mojo and fat chance finding another like it, so at the risk of looking like an ass, I've stopped the auction. I've also received several emails since the auction ended essentially asking to whom I've sold the bike. I can honestly say that the bike has not and will not change hands for the forseeable future, I will continue to provide it a loving home here in my overcrowded garage. However, I do need to make room for other projects, so I've listed another old soldier, a 1950 Helyett Speciale. As penance for my Gloria blunder, it's started at $1.00 with no reserve. And I promise to let the auction run its course.
