You're right Peter. Also, the early 70's PX-10 seatstay tops never had crimped ends, they were brazed-on flats highlighted with a gold-lined black oval.

There were several component differences as well... the PX-10 of this period

had a Stronglight 93 crank, pedals with one piece wraparound alloy cages, a Simplex one-piece seatpost and (usually) a Brooks Pro saddle.
