I am refurbishing my 1974 Carlsbad Masi, and I need some help with bottom brackets. The Campagnolo bottom bracket in the frame has what I think are thin cups without threading in the spindle hole. The adjustable cup is marked 36 x 24 F. The spindle is black, with the winged quick release logo. It says 70-SS. Clearly it is not original.
Is this a Grand Sport BB?
If not, what is it?
I have a set of 1974 NR cranks to put on the bike. I also have a 1984 NR BB. Can I use a post-CPSC BB with an older set of crank arms?
