Seriously, in 1972, how many of us on this list even heard of De Rosa, let alone saw (or wanted) one?

Does this sale mean that if I want one in my size from the 60's I'll have to sell my 57 Nomad to get it? I don't think so Tim.

f.w.i.w. remember there was a high-dollar pog "sale" a couple months ago on the sqee that was reported by a lister here to a negotiated price that was a LOT less than the e-bay final bid.

I have a few "Holy Grail" bikes for me in the basement right now...to me...they are worth it for whatever reason I have or someone else may have but I have seen some FAR rarer imported marques with excellent quality builds brought into this country for what I would consider steals compared with these values. They just don't have the "name" that some others have...

Then again, this is all just my opinion
