Great information and, actually, I agree with you. Mostly,
I'm amused by what it is that makes a LeJeune a LeJeune.
Apparently, it must have French threading and LeJeune decals.
Beyond that, who knows?
When I visited LeJeune in 1983, they had an old racing bike
on dispay that must have been nearly 40 years old. It had an
Oscar Egg derailleur or some similar sort of mechanism.
Anyway, this bike had modern (for 1983) LeJeune decals on it.
At first I thought, "that's just not right" but knowing what I
know now, maybe it was...
