I owned this frame once upon a few eons ago... Doesn't appear to have been built up since I sold it and in much the same condition as it left these shores. The straight forks are original and as was specified by it's owner apparently. Martin Coopland and Hilary once helped me identify what frame it was but it's long forgotten and the emails are lost to me now. Paint / chrome was by Dave Yates, transfers (read decals) by Martin Coopland.

Look at this shot of a Flying Scot configured much as this Bates would have been and note the length of seatpost, short stem and long bars used....
