hello..I can't count how many times I have read a kind and helpful tip about a classic bike or frameset someone has found on ebay. "Not my size", they say, out of either disappointment, relief, or both. Why can't we make a point of mentioning the size it actually is while we are at it to save excited side trips on the part of others just to check if it is their size? Just a thought ..Patrick Lay in Chicago

WHAT HE SAID!

This applies to framesets/bikes that you are personally trying to sell also, folks. If you can't tell us what size it is in your posting, I suspect many of us don't even bother to look at it. The odds are it isn't going to fit us anyways.....

Please, please, please state the size of any frameset or bike that is for sale, as well as how it was measured (c-c vs. c-t)! Top tube length and standover height (with the tires fully inflated) are even better, but we'll take seat tube size over nothing all day long.....

End of mini-rant.
