FWIW, I found myself looking, for years, for nothing more than a pristine white UO-8.

Found one 3 years back at Salvation Army thrift store, nary a scratch. I now ride it infrequently. The cottered bb rebuild doesn't conjure pleasant memories, tho I do now keep proper French cotters on hand. Spokes also have been unreliable, but bike rides comfortably and even shifts very well.
