Fred, since I just added a GJ to stable having GR (both early-70's), your question is timely. A side by side comparison reveals very few obvious differences. Angles are the same, Nervex both, GJ chainstays are a little longer (1/4"), GJ fork tips are stamped, GR are Campy (both have rear Campy DOs) GR seatstays look exactly like most 531 bikes while GJ are thinner. GJ may be Vitus (decal gone but outline smaller than Reynolds decal) while GR is 531. My GR is champagne silver with blk head and striping while GJ is same but red head. Of course components differ quite a bit as my GR has TA crank and Campy derail while GJ has 49D crank and Jubile derail. Of course components may have been swapped in the course of 30+yrs so keep that in mind.

Also, I'd like to swap this 25" GJ for a 23/24".
