Hello All,

I just recieved my copy of Jan Heine and Jean-Pierre Praderes book, THE GOLDEN AGE OF HANDBUILT BICYCLES. Its simply stunning in its visual format, with large and detailed studio portraits of the epoch of French craftsman cycles. Accompanying the studio photos are large format snapshots of days gone by, reflecting the passion of the times.

The time has finally come for a coffee table book that profiles a relevant niche of our hobby. You don't have to own a 650B Daudon (shoulda, woulda, and coulda bought that matching pair from Peter, Damn!) to be inspired by this book. I think all vintage lightweight cycle collectors can benefit from this book, much in the same we did with the DANCING CHAIN.

Go get it! http://www.vintagebikepress.com/
