I been riding a road/path frame for a couple of years as a fixed gear. It has a nasty repaint and I would now like to get it repainted at the same time as another frame. I bought the frame at the Ripley jumble a couple of years ago and I was told at the time that it was a Paramount made in Mansfield, Notts, UK. Since then I've seen another paramount that was much later than mine, so I know this make exists but I know nothing about them. Mine is 531 has nervex lugs and is built for close clearance 27" wheels. It has a twin plate fork crown with round fork legs and a curved rear brake bridge. Mudguard eyes front and rear and rear facing track ends. This is a lovely ride and I'd like to know a bit more about the company. Also does anybody know of a source for transfers? The only other Paramount that I saw had large black and white block letters on the downtube and smaller script style transfers elsewhere.
