For Davis Phinney, 'Every Victory Counts'. During his 20 year racing career, he attained over 300 victories, including two stage wins in the Tour de France. Along with Lance Armstrong and Greg LeMond, Davis is one of only three Americans to win multiple stages of the Tour de France, the world's most prestigious bike race.
In 2000, Davis Phinney was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
