I have and used a pair of the Weinmann "delta" type brakes for a several years. There is some elegance to them, but the stopping is not outstanding. IIRC, they cuse a lever system like the Campy.

A couple of notes on this pair:

1) I was sort of scared to see that they have had extenders put on the arms to convert them from short reach to something longer. Now that will change the geometry! Besides, these are plates w/o much thickness, so I would expect them to be a bit flexy. 2) Mine have black rubber covers that are lacking on these, and a sort of nice touch. 3) With cover for the Weinmann, here are some weights for comparable rear brakes, including pads, tire guides, and adjusting barrels: 237 g Campag Delta (but don't ask what version) 191 g Weinmann Delta 174 g Shimano Dura-Ace cam-operated CP.

So the Shimano is 1/2 oz lighter than the Weinmann, but the Campy is 1.5 oz heavier.

The Weinmann looks much more delicate than the Campy, because it is only 7 cm across the widest portion, while the Campy is 8.5.
