All items are priced in $. Shipping will be extra charged at cost. Payment can be made in cash with dollars or by money order in Pounds sterling ($1.70 to 1 GBP). IDEALE MODEL 70 SADDLE NOS - very good complete with Ideale clip. the leather is exceptionally thick and this Ideale saddle looks to be of really top quality but there are quite a few marks on the leather. FONTEYN CAT 1950 excellent condition At this time Fonteyn were the importer s of Simplex gears (included in this catalogue are instyructions for the TDF gear), Stronglight incl 49D cranks, Mafac, Mavic, FB, Barras welded aluminium frames (sold under the Fontalloy name) and many other pieces of continental equipment. LET¹S GO CYCLING Reg Shaw 1950 very good/excellent ex library copy. Reg Sha w was at that time secretary of the Cyclists Touring Club and was very influential in touring circles. This book gives a very good idea of what cycle touring was about in the 1950s and gives a good introduction to the kit. FIORELLI 1950s 58cm (centre to centre seat tube) road frame thought to be a Fiorelli and almost certainly dating from the 1950s. It is 120mm across the rear ends and has a 56cm ctc top tube. It is a nicely made frame and comes complete with a rare Magistroni headset with built-in clamp. The frame appears to be very sound with no dents or pitting. TOM SIMPSON JEREMY MALLARD PRINT an excellent and very attractive print on art paper of Tom Simpson on Mount Ventoux in 1967. It is taken from a painting by Jeremy Mallard and the actual picture not including the white border measures 29 x 20.5cm.
