I rode My Ken Rogers trike over the 65 mile route in last week's Elephant Rock ride. Riding the trike was done for fun but I did manage to cover the distance in 5:10 including 3 breaks and a bout with cramps toward the end. Now a friend did the 100 mile loop in 5:06 so this obviously is not a record pace. On the other hand, the routes in this event are very hilly and I've only been riding on the weekends this year so I'm pleased to have survived.
