Proffered earlier, LIFE is good and for some of us, it is appropriate. There is a t-shirt that says "Cycling is Life, Everything else is just Details." I concur. But the one word that would accomodate everyone, and can be translated to your particular affliction (collecting, riding, restoring, etc.) is:
LOVE
I love cycling and the equipment and the freedom and the wind and the hills and the exertion and the green aspects and saving gas and working on bicycles and looking at bicycles and most of all: I love the people I have come to know and the Great Friends I have made thru the sport. Friendships that transend cycling. But cycling is always a hugh part. It's great to know we are all afflicted, if in somewhat different ways, by the joy and Love of a simple yet complex machine.
Can't we have more Cirques and VRs?
