That was me and I got the quote from a horse fancier who had it framed and hanging in the powder room (loo for those across the pond). Apparently bottom heavy and all, he was quite the equestrian. The quote just seems so appropriate to those with our "PASSION!!!!!!!" for cycling.

I have to wonder whether his use of 'saddle' isn't metaphorical? I know he probably didn't mean riding a horse as I think Sir Winston was a tad bottom heavy. Perhaps one of our English brethrens can enlighten us on the phrase "in the saddle" and the context.

A bit off-topic I know, but perhaps a respite from serious velo-connoisseurship, and a feeble attempt to participate.
