Actually the decals *are* wrong, but I had it repainted and had some "close " decals fitted whom Reynolds were actually nice enough to send without charge(!!! this was 15 years ago). The original decal set was the usual diagonal 531 butted throughout decal and had the triangular 531 fork decals
that I couldn't replace at the time, pre-internet. I didn't weigh it, but
the frame felt "right" in hand for a butted frame and it was always kitted
out in Nuovo stuff except Mod. 68 CPs and I doubt many plain-guage frameset s were done up with forged Campy ends around that time. It's interesting having a bike from an "unknown" maker, especially one wit h such a famous name on it and so nicely made. I have no idea whatever who made it or where, the French threading and the apparently metric diameter
are the only clues I have. The very pretty brass headbadge, with what looks
