My friend Padraig claims to have seen a 1915 "Harp" bicycle with the bottom bracket stamped "Made in Occupied Eire". He swears its got "Shamrock" cut-outs and is painted emerald with gold pinstriping, and bottlecages the perfect size for Guinness!

Despite many inquiries (in pubs all over the Island), I've not been able to locate this bike.

Did you know that the Irish invented the radio? Sure its true! Marconi's mother was a Jameson: daughter of the Jameson distillery owners!
