RORY O¹BRIEN ROAD FRAME 1970s 22in (centre to top seat tube) It is 122mm across the rear ends and has a 22in ctc top tube. Rory O¹Brien¹s shop was i n Romford just to the east of London - his frames were built by a number of local framebuilders, this one has all the hallmarks of Vic Edwards whose workshop was only just down the road. The shot-in rear stays and lugs are very typical of his work. The paint is very scruffy. $95 http://images.andale.com/f2/118/129/2070911/1120717238339_Rory_OBrien.jpg

SIMPLEX TOUR DE FRANCE c1950 REAR GEAR This is built for a 3-speed freewhee l with 1/2 x 1/8in chain. The only signs of use are a slight shine to the edg e of the lower pulley - it is otherwise perfect $75 http://images.andale.com/f2/118/129/2070911/1119190292396_Simplex_TDF_gear. j pg

CINELLI BLACK HAIRNET HELMET NOS size 7 which equates to a size 57. $20

BROOKS B37 SADDLE from about 1951-3. The B37 is a rare saddle with an aluminium cantleplate and stainless steel rails which was only made for about three years in the early 1950s alongside the B57, B27, and B47 saddles. This example has a leather top -with fine surface cracks and a few marks but there are no cracks or splits around the rivets. Unusually the aluminium cantleplate and stainless steel rails are in excellent condition - they are often cracked or broken. $75 http://images.andale.com/f2/118/129/2070911/1119733951048_Brooks_B37.jpg

CHATER LEA BOTTOM BRACKET CUPS NOS to fit the proprietary Chater Lea oversize bottom bracket shell as used byy quite a few British frame builder s especially Carlton in the 1930s and 40s. CINELLI ALLOY FRAME SADDLE 1970s excellent and there are no cracks to the frame but leather top and padding has been removed - this was a common modification in order to get an ultra light saddle - it weighs just 210g as it is! And is ideal for building into a super lightweight road or time tria l bike from the period. $25 http://images.andale.com/f2/118/129/2070911/1118719757014_Cinelli_alloy_sad d le.jpg
