The catalogue at the vintage trek website shows my bike with a triple, but I bought it new in 1983 with a double (52,40).
My almost 50-year old legs need that triple badly now, especially since I've moved from flat Texas to hilly western South Dakota.
If anybody knows where I can find a NOS triple, or one lightly used (my bike is in great shape and I want to keep it fairly "stock"), I'd be grateful.
