Seems like everyone thinks their Legnano is from the 1950s! This time its an original chartreuse bike of unknown model, with cattycorner binder bolt, possibly Campy dropouts, Universal "Extra" mod.51 brake calipers, but with braze-on brake and der cable guides, and low-end 70s model derailleurs, stem, cranks, hubs, etc.

I've posted two pics from the seller to the my Legnano album:

Looks like the brake cable housings might be waffle pattern - wonder how late were they still using these in Italy?

Note the late style logo on the downtube "sticker", headtube "sticker" or decal instead of brass badge, no chrome except crown, Unica-style saddle, short-point lugs. I think the rear derailleur says "STS". The tires, rims, and brake levers are recent additions.

My guess is early-1970s. Anyone else?

My guess is 1968-1972, FWIW. Hard to say from just those eBay pics., though... I had a circa '73 that was blue, and didn't have the unique Legnano seat post binder bolt arrangement. It had Campy dropouts, but I did have any earlier one at one point with Campy rear d/o's but stamped fronts (which looks like what this one may have...). Greg Parker in very wet Ann Arbor, Michigan
