Yesterday's (or maybe the day before) viewer quizz on the OLN coverage of the Tour de France:

What bike has won the most Tours de France?

Answer: Peugeot

Says it all.

The bike everyone hates 'cause the average 20-year-old aspiring racer could ow n one and win with. Even Eddy who rode one to several victories before, as we all know, it was morphed into a Masi or something with Peugeot paint and, one presumes, crappy lugwork in case someone was nosing around.

But take a look at the photos in this site... seems like more than f ew pix of PX-10s, no doubt "riding and handling like a dog" crossing the finish line with the Italians drafting behind in second or worse place.

Looking forward to riding my dog this afternoon in fact...
