Nuovo Valentino front derailleur (flat arms, Record-style plain cage with lip, stamped with Winged QR logo) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Incidentally, I've never been quite comfortable with the 1977 date of #17a. Maybe more like 1978? The new stuff listed in it showed up in the US in 1979 based on Bikecology's catalog.("new for '79" says the '79 Bikecology catalog). The chain holder was shown at the end of the year '77 Milan show.

Can anyone help???
