I've broken a lot of Cyclos, although most were newer ones, which may be made in China now, rather than in UK. I've also broken the smaller portable Parks. Most recently, I've purchased the larger "shop model" Park, but haven't used it enough yet to know how it will hold up. I think VAR makes a pliers type chaintool, which like most things VAR, is archaic-looking, expensive, not highly finished, but from all appearences, nuke-proof.

Park, they all replied. Can't go wrong with Park. So I bought two. I used one of them for the second time this morning and it broke. It cracked clean through. I took it to my local cycle shop and showed it to them. Unusual, said the nice young man, they usually break just there!

Some of the old tools in my box are a lot older than me so must be coming up to their three quarters of a century and probably a few hundred operaions. The Park managed two. Any comments?
