The next meeting of The Brooklyn Velodrome Vintage Wheelmen will be held:
Tuesday night July 26th, 2005.
Meet at the office of Mike Schmidt at The Hartford Insurence Co.
Location: 2 Park Avenue (between 32ed and 33rd Streets) 7th floor. MANHATTEN, New York.
Time: meet at 5:30 p.m. and we start the lecture at 6:00 p.m.
LECTURE? Yes, a guest speeker, Mr Larry Mangano, of Mangano's Cyclery of Brooklyn, N.Y. will be speeking about his days in "the game". Mangano's was the first importer of Campagnolo into the United States (we do hope to shed more light onto this). Larry will be bringing his grandfathers 6 day racing scrapbook. Both Larrys father and grandpa raced.
Food: somewhere, maybe John's Pizzaria on Bleeker Street as it's been a while. And I really like it!
