Bikeworks in New York City has a NOS Suntour Superbe Pro bb in a 110 size (english thread). The price is $100. I think that the price is excessive for my purposes. The whole fun of buying an old part of such quality is that you know that with new ball bearings and a little polishing, the old used warhorse can be once again restored by the loving hands of an enthusiast. You invest an hour of your time, you take a little chance, and you save a bunch of money and brag to the owners of modern bikes how little you paid for a classic part, put on an old bike with obvious intrinsic value and high utility. (and maybe you beat them in a small friendly race too.) Knowing that $100 is too much and that I absolutely need the 110 size (68 shell) is there anyone out there who can aid me. I need cups and axle, (but bearings, washer, bolts and plastic protector not required.)

Garth Libre in Miami Fl.(still sad that Armstrong has once again beaten Merckx's record, but I still think he cheated somehow).
