Sometime in the late 70's Peugeot started adding model names like Competition and Super Competition to the previous model designations like PN-10 amd PX-10. Both the name and the older-type designation would usually appear in the catalogs. For many models, the model name began appearing on the top tube. I believe the "Super Competition" was the same model also designated PX-10 in the late 70's/ early 80's.

I do remember the white knight that Peugeot put out, but I purchased a Super Competition (60cm ctc)and then traded it for another Super Competition (57cm ctc) that fit. My question is simply this: Is the Super Competition just another PX-10 in a cleaner package or a seperate model? Bruce
