If my memeory serves me right, during one of Colin Laing's periods in the UK he was resident and building in Devon for Colin Lewis Cycles of Paignton. Colin Lewis of course was one of the hard men of British pro racing and rode the TDF. What happened to his sojourn in the UK I don't know, but he is obviously now back in the good old US of A.
