Brian: Could you also try to date mine perhaps? I think you may have seen pics. of it - red, w/understated (for Medici) yellow & black graphics, painted fork, chrome (showing) on the fork crown only, Gargatte BB shell, 1010/B dropouts w/o the Portacatena holes, serial number 043. My guess is 1977 or so, but that's just a swag. Don't know the age for sure, but that frame is probably early 80's maybe. That top effect came and went in a flash, but don't remember when.

Technically Medici closed it's doors back in the late 90's and became Simo Cycles or Simonetti about that time. I think there is a date code to the serial numbers. If you know that I may be able to come up with something.
