And back to fork blade evolution, didn't Albert Hobbs claim to be responsible for introducing the "true oval" (rather than D-section) fork blades back in 1936? I believe that both Accles & Pollock and Reynolds produced these for Hobbs. Hobbs called it their "TF" fork. My '51 BR has A&P blades. It is presently with Ed Litton or I would measure the blades for a more accurate discussion.
