It is a coaster brake and it's really not in rideable condition. The wooden rims are warped so it would be a bit of a bumpy ride at the moment. The seller doesn't quite know what it's worth but he knows it's worth something. I think he's hoping to get 800.00 or so. I know he said he just contacted the vintage bicycle museum of america or some such group hoping to get a better idea of value, so who knows what they'll tell him. Personally, 800.00 seems like a bit much for all the work and parts it may need. Plus I'm getting alot of opinions on value, some say 300-400 others say 800.00 seems about fair.

The funny thing is I know exactly where the seller bought this. It was at a swap meet here in chicago. I had a chance to buy it from a gentleman I do alot of business with. I saw it one sunday, passed on it, asked around and was told it was only worth 400.00 which was right around the asking price so I decided to pass when I saw it again a week later.

If anyone is still interested in it I'll put you in touch with the seller. I don't know if he'll want to ship it but if he doesn't I'd be willing to handle that for any list member. since he only lives 15 minutes away.

thanks
