Subject: [CR]L. Cerrina French frame

A recent purchase. http://ebay.com/<blah

It arrived the other day and is very charming. The paint is better than it looks in the pictures because it is all silver underneath and the scratches don't go through the silver. From Cannes- not a hotbed of building I presume. Anyone know what Hydravion tubing is? Its a shame that the 50's type Simplex dropout (a l Simplex TDF) had the hanger lopped off. This has promise as a nice comfy fixed (well probably a two speed fixed with a Sturmey TF).

By the way- this transaction went as smooth as silk. The packing was minimilist, the fork was strapped to the frame and cardboard wrapped over the frame and then swathed with lots of plastic but apperently French air post turns into some fancy courier US and the package was pristine.
