For very little cash outlay this sure has got me well wound up in anticipation, I think it's partly the shiny brand new/old thing. I try to keep somebody on mailman watch at all times armed with sufficient money to pay the taxes due on the box.

I have already given up on using all Mexican components. ;-)

I'm initially going to install various bits off the bench so I can ride it and get a feel for it and what it wants.

Currently it's looking like starting with Sanshin hubs, Ambrosio clincher rims, Vredestein Fortesa tires, Suntour narrow 6 speed freewheel. Suntour Cyclone derailers, downtube shifters, Sugino crank, Shimano 600 sidepull brakes, Dia-Compe levers. Stem and bars will probably be 3TTT steered from a brown, chrome rail Brooks Pro on a Sakae post. Pedals MKS track with Ale clips.

Depending where it decides to fit in the rotation, what is discovered hoarded in boxes, what changes on other bikes and how long the winter is, this mix will completely change.
